The 30 cm Short Leash from the Extreme Edition by Vitomalia was developed for situations in which you need to lead your dog directly, close and absolutely safely. With a total length of just 30 cm, this Short Leash is the ideal tool for city traffic, visits to the vet, dog sports or any environment where you need full control.

Equipped with the tried-and-tested frog carabiner made of hard aluminium, the Short Leash offers maximum safety combined with easy handling. The carabiner only opens by pressing both sides at the same time and closes automatically when hooked in - it remains reliably closed even when pulled hard.
The breaking load is up to 600 kg, making the Short Leash also ideal for large and powerful dogs.

The 3 cm wide Leash ensures stability and is comfortable to hold thanks to the integrated neoprene padding - even with spontaneous movements or a strong jerk. The combination of robust workmanship, water-repellent nylon and anodised stainless steel parts makes the Short Leash particularly durable, easy to clean and visually appealing.

Application

The Extreme Edition is suitable for medium to large dogs that use a lot of strength. The carabiner has a double safety lock that only opens the carabiner when both snaps are used. The short lead is suitable for dogs that are excellent at standing and running freely. The short lead is left on the collar while the dog is running freely. As soon as other dogs or passers-by come towards you, the dog can be led using the short lead. Another area of ​​application for short leads is public transport or paths where the dog has to be led "at heel" within a small radius.

Product care

Our Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses are made of nylon material with neoprene lining. We recommend that you store Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses at home after use. This keeps the products looking good for a long time and prevents unnecessary wear and tear at home.
We already use the highest quality coatings, but black metal parts can wear and scratch.
For light soiling, we recommend washing the products for 2 minutes under lukewarm water with a little rubbing on the soiling. You don't need any detergent for this, just lukewarm water and your hands.
If heavily soiled, Vitomalia Collars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses can be washed in the washing machine in the washing bag provided on a 30 °C hand wash programme. Please do not use detergent for dog itemsCollars, Dog Leashes and Harnesses, but also dog bed covers)! Washing soda or a little vinegar is perfectly adequate. Detergent is too strongly perfumed for our dogs and very unpleasant. Vinegar and washing soda remove bacteria and keep the colour fresh for a long time.
Due to the metal details, we recommend that you also put other laundry (e.g. the dog blankets) in the wash as a kind of buffer to prevent your washing machine from being damaged by the metal details.

⏱ Shipping process

Orders received Monday-Friday by 12:00 noon are usually dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 noon will be processed the following working day.

Pre-orders and unpaid orders are excluded from this time frame.

🧭 Shipping from multiple warehouses

We ship from fulfilment centres in Germany and Poland. If your order is split into several parcels for logistical reasons or comes from both warehouses, we only charge the shipping costs once per order.

🇨🇭 Shipping to Switzerland - please note the import fees

We are a Swiss company, but our warehouses are located in the EU. Shipping to Switzerland is an import. In addition to the purchase price, import duties may apply, e.g:

  • Swiss value added tax (currently 8.1 %)
  • Processing fees of the delivery service / Swiss customs (variable)

Unfortunately, we cannot cover these fees in advance; they will be charged by the shipping service provider upon delivery. Please take these additional costs into account when placing your order.
